Washington, June 25 -- US President Donald Trump did not inform European leaders in advance of his decision to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, Politico reported, citing an unnamed European official.
Trump did not warn his European allies before authorizing the B-2 fighter jet strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities on June 22, the official said. At the G7 summit in Canada last week, however, Trump left the leaders feeling that he was leaning towards such an attack, the report said on Tuesday.
However, on Sunday, Sky News reported, citing Downing Street sources, that the UK government had been pre-notified of the US strikes on Iran's nuclear sites.
