Washington, Jan. 5 -- Trump administration officials will brief a select group of lawmakers on Monday about the operation in Venezuela that led to the capture and arrest of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

The briefing on "Operation Absolute Resolve" will include several senior officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine, according to The Hill.

The briefing is scheduled to take place at 5:30 pm on Capitol Hill.
