Ramgarh, Sept. 10 -- A tragic road accident occurred in the early hours today in Jharkhand's Chutupalu Valley, Ramgarh district, when a 14-wheeler truck carrying rice and pulses overturned, claiming the lives of the driver and his assistant.
According to police, the truck belonging to Jinna Transport Company was loaded with food grains from Jaya Laxmi Agro Food Pvt. Ltd., Cuttack (Odisha), and was en route to Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh via Ranchi.
As the vehicle entered Chutupalu Valley, it lost control near the notorious Gadke bend, a known accident black spot, and overturned.
