Amaravati, Feb. 22 -- A trough in westerlies runs from south Gangetic West Bengal to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the trough in easterlies from Rayalaseema to South Chhattisgarh now runs from north Kerala to central Madhya Maharashtra at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next 48 hours.
Maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema from February 24 to 26.
