Amaravati, April 19 -- The trough from North Madhya Maharashtra to Gulf of Mannar now runs from Northeast Vidarbha to Gulf of Mannar across Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Temil Nadu at 1.5 km above mean sea level, the Meteorological Centre said Saturday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 40 to 50 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastals Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yayama and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
