Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Jan. 31 -- The trough in easterlies over Southwest Bay of Bengal extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that lower tropospheric South Westerly winds prevail over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Easterly winds / North Easterly winds prevail over South coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
The lowest minimum temperature of 17.2 degree celsius was recorded in Nandigama of Coastal Andhra Pradesh on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, the report added.
