Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Jan. 30 -- A trough in easterlies lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the lower tropospheric North Easterly / Easterly winds prevail over North coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.
Shallow fog is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on February 1.
