Amaravati, March 19 -- A trough extending from central parts of Odisha to South Vidarbha across South Chhattisgarh at 0.9 km above mean sea level persists, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In its daily weather report here, it said that a trough or wind discontinuity from Marathwada to the cyclonic circulation over south Tamil Nadu, passing through interior Karnataka at 0.9 km above mean sea level, also persists.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema on March 22 and 23.
