Agartala, Sept. 12 -- The families and friends of a youth from Tripura identified as Swapnajit Choudhury, who has been stranded in Nepal in the recent unrest, sought action from the Indian government to evacuate him.
Swapnajit, a resident of Old Agartala, went to Kathmandu last week for an academic assignment. He is pursuing a PhD at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in Kolkata and travelled to Nepal on September 4 for a seminar held by his university.
