Agartala, June 30 -- About 706 hectares of wasteland in Tripura have been brought under mango cultivation in the state through various government initiatives in seven years under BJP's rule, claimed Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath today.
Talking to the media, Nath said that for the first Tripura Monsoon Mango Fiesta held at Narikelkunja in Gandacherra under Dhalai District in the last two days, farmers showcased their production of various species of mangoes, including the varieties from the US, Australia, and Singapore.
