Agartala, Dec. 13 -- In a move to empower women and uplift marginalized communities, the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) is set to launch the Samaveshi Aajeevika Yojana (SAY), a Rs 40-crore initiative aimed at improving the lives of 8,000 of the most impoverished households in the Dhalai and North Tripura districts.
The three-year initiative, scheduled to roll out in the New Year, will primarily support the Reang tribes-categorised as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG)-alongside other Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, women-led households, and single-member families.
