Agartala, Dec. 27 -- Tripura's solar power generation has exceeded 6 megawatts so far, marking a significant milestone in the journey of renewable energy, thanks to the Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
The state's power minister, Ratan Lal Nath, said on Saturday that Tripura targets surpassing 10 megawatts of power generation from the solar sector by March next year. Appreciating the initiative of Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency, he said the scheme has garnered an extraordinary response throughout the state in two years.
