Agartala, May 25 -- Tripura is aiming to increase its per capita income to 23,000 USD by 2047, said state Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, laying emphasis on nine key enablers like medical wellness, eco-tourism and IT.

Knowledge economy, resilient agriculture, rich history, cultural heritage, and sports would be among the other divers in the north eastern state's ambitious push for enhanced growth, Saha said while addressing the tenth NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting.on Saturday in New Delhi

At present, Tripura's per capita income is registered at 2300 USD. To accelerate manufacturing and services in the state's Tier-3 citues, the state government is developing industrial infrastructure in 20 Industrial estates.
