Agartala, June 19 -- Tripura Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Thursday announced that the state government will soon introduce a live-line work technology that allows repairs on power transmission lines without shutting down the power supply.

He emphasized that several key initiatives are being undertaken to further strengthen the state's power infrastructure. These include Live-line repair technology to avoid shutdowns during maintenance, use of drones for monitoring faults and maintenance of tower lines, commissioning of mobile substations to ensure uninterrupted supply during disasters, and measures to handle additional load during peak summer months.
