Agartala, Sept. 27 -- Tripura Police today announced security measures for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations to begin from Sunday. There will be deployment of 7,750 additional security personnel, installation of 320 CCTVs, and establishment of 241 police assistant booths across the state. Unveiling security measures for the celebration, DGP Anurag said that a comprehensive plan has been made this year, considering the overall situation. "We have made massive arrangements to ensure law and order during Durga Puja. The security will be strengthened in border and sensitive areas through joint patrolling," he said.
