Agartala, July 24 -- : The Member of Parliament from West Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari last night in New Delhi to apprise him of the ongoing work of national highway and infrastructure projects in the state.
The National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) has been building highways in Tripura but has been accused of poor quality work. All the National highways in the northern direction are in deplorable condition, and the roads are not motorable during the monsoon.
