Agartala, Oct. 26 -- Aiming to empower 4.86 lakh rural women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has launched Samriddhi Abhiyan, a flagship initiative of the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) focused on enhancing financial independence, improving access to credit, and fostering entrepreneurship.
Propelling the "Lakhpati Didis" mission towards inclusive growth and revitalising the rural economy, the Chief Minister said Samriddhi Abhiyan aims to fortify SHGs as vital components of inclusive progress, ensuring that women have seamless access to credit, new employment opportunities, and avenues for entrepreneurship.
