Agartala, May 3 -- The council of ministers in Tripura, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, approved the creation and filling up of 107 posts across various departments last night in a cabinet meeting.
In a move aimed at providing enhanced welfare support, the government announced an increase in the monthly allowance for 12 widows of World War II veterans from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000, marking the first revision since 2019.
They approved a monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 for an eligible unmarried dependent of CAPF personnel who were killed in service, demonstrating a commitment to supporting those affected by such sacrifices.
