Agartala, Dec. 11 -- (UNI): The Tripura government has directed the complete enrollment of farmers in the Farmers' Registry, an integrated database for every farmer in India to establish a modern, efficient, and transparent agricultural system, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath said on Thursday.

"By registering, farmers can be confident that the benefits designated for them will be deposited directly into their bank accounts, without any delays or the risk of intermediaries. This guarantees that assistance reaches the appropriate farmer promptly," he stated.
