Agartala, Feb. 18 -- As part of the multiple initiatives for the empowerment of women in Tripura, the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) exclusively for women at Anandanagar in the southern outskirts of Agartala was inaugurated recently and has become a model, said Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday.

"Tripura excels in skill development activities and has opened numerous employment opportunities. So far, we have trained over 42,000 candidates, and the majority got jobs", Dr. Saha observed.
