Agartala, Feb. 18 -- A local court on Tuesday sent altogether seven persons to 12 days of judicial custody for impersonating job seekers and adopting unfair means in the recruitment exam in Tripura (Central) University for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on Sunday.
Accused were included one from Bihar, two from Rajasthan, two from Haryana, and two from West Bengal. Police initially detained them from the exam hall based on the complaints from the university authority and later after prima facie charges were established all of them were arrested.
