Agartala, July 5 -- The North Tripura district and sessions court yesterday convicted a man to rigorous imprisonment of seven years for killing a woman in 2019 in East Hurua, Gowala Basti locality under Dharmanagar police station.
Police said the court convicted Sanjoy Ghosh (36) of Sanicharra, under Churaibari police station, and sentenced him to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for life and pay a fine of Rs 10,000, and in default of payment to fine to suffer further simple imprisonment for six months for offence punishable under section 302 IPC.
