Agartala, Dec. 13 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha here on Saturday said that the state government will move the High Court seeking permission to reopen the Kalyanpur Bazar Colony massacre case that happened on Dec 12, 1996, allegedly by tribal insurgents.

He said the move was aimed at delivering justice to the victims and ensuring accountability for those responsible. While paying homage to the victims of the massacre in Khowai district, Dr Saha recalled the tragic incident that occurred 29 years ago.
