Agartala, Oct. 21 -- The secretary of Tripura Legislative Assembly Subhas Sikdar served show-cause notice to 46 of his employees for participation in a protest demonstration during working hours a few days before the last assembly session two months ago. The assembly administration had issued a circular directing the employees to be mindful of their duties, besides being punctual, dutiful and sincere and stating that from then on the periodic appraisal of their performance would have to be made available within a week mandatorily, which irked the employees.
