Agartala, Feb. 26 -- A group of 75 migrant brick kiln workers suddenly entered the Bishalgarh Sub-divisional magistrate court in Tripura's Sepahijala district seeking action against the factory owner on late Tuesday.

They raised an allegation of police inaction against the accused persons, based on which the magistrate directed police to launch an investigation into the allegation. The court also asked the administration to enquire into the labour issues, including wages, safety, and security.

The workers alleged that they were assaulted by the brick kiln owner after they demanded pending wages on Tuesday morning.
