Agartala, June 7 -- In a joint operation conducted by the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), and Border Security Force (BSF), based on intelligence input arrested two individuals at Agartala railway station for illegal entry into India and attempting to cross the state by train on Saturday.
According to GRP, the arrested individuals include one Bangladeshi national and one Indian tout. The
Bangladeshi national, identified as Shyamal Chandra Barman (23) from Gaibandha district, Bangladesh, illegally entered India and was accompanied by Abhijit Sarkar alias Prem (32), a resident of Trisha Bari, Teliamura Police Station, Khowai district.
