Kolkata, Feb. 18 -- West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee on Tuesday said a privilege motion moved by the ruling Trinamool Congress against suspended Leader of the Opposition and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari for his alleged provocative statements has been referred to the privilege committee.

Meanwhile, the BJP legislators continued to boycott the House in protest against the one-month suspension slapped on Adhikari and three other BJP MLAs on Monday for creating a ruckus in the House. The four BJP legislators allegedly tore off business papers and flung them towards the Speaker, after the latter disallowed an adjourment motion for discussing purported violence during the recent Saraswati Puja celebrations.
