Tributes paid to Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas

Pune, Dec. 6 -- On the occasion of the 69th Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Bharat Ratna, tributes were paid at Siddharth Nagar, Bavdhan, here on Saturday. The event was jointly organized by the Republican Party of India (Aathawale), Vikas Pratishthan, and Sujata Mahila Mandal, Bavdhan.

The programme began with dignitaries offering floral tributes to the portrait of Dr Ambedkar followed by a collective recitation of Buddha Vandana by all attendees.
