Bengaluru, Oct. 30 -- A tribunal in Karnataka has stayed the suspension of a government officer facing action for participating in an event organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), announced Tejasvi Surya, MP and national president of the BJP youth wing.

According to Surya, he has spoken to the suspended Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) and given personal assurances that he would appear before the tribunal and other courts to challenge what the party terms an "illegal and unlawful" disciplinary action.
