Agra (UP), Sept. 12 -- The transgender community has collected about Rs 30 lakh from their own community to help the flood victims in Punjab.
During the All India Mangal Mukhi transgender conference going on in Agra it has been decided that the flood victims in Punjab should be helped.
Transgender Guru Rekha said that about 10,000 transgenders from all over the country are participating in this conference. The conference which started on September 6 will continue till September 15.
In the conference itself, the issue of helping the people affected by the flood in Punjab was raised and the entire transgender community came forward to help and everyone has donated according to their capacity.
