Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 20 -- The Transgender Arts Festival, 'VarnaPakitt', organised by the Kerala Social Justice Department to highlight the creative talents of transgender persons and enhance their social visibility, will be held in Kozhikode from August 21 to 23.
The three-day event will commence with a national conference on August 21 at Jubilee Hall, where representatives from states that have implemented transgender policies, along with experts in health, education, social justice and human rights, will participate.
Panel discussions will focus on transgender health and welfare, education and employment, and the protection of human rights.
