Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- Train services on the Koraput-Kirandul line under the Waltair Division remained disrupted for the second consecutive day today due to incessant rains and a landslide
that occurred between Malliguda and Jarati stations.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources, heavy earth-moving machinery, manpower, and materials have been mobilized, and restoration work is currently underway.
Railway officials, including the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), are on-site to oversee the restoration process. A major portion of the track, which was buried under mud and boulders,
has already been cleared, and work is progressing at full speed.
