Kolkata, May 14 -- Train services on the down Sealdah section of Eastern Railway's Dum Dum Junction were affected on Wednesday after two wheels of the last coach of a passenger train bound for Sealdah jumped the rails.

ER officials said there was no injury as the speed was almost zero.

The relief train from Sealdah arrived immediately to help the stranded passengers reach their destination. Restoration of the line was in full swing.

The derailment happened at around 12.11 hours on platform No. 4, and the rest of the tracks 1,2,3, and 5 lines were operative.

The damaged line would be restored soon, said the ER officials.

Sealdah DRM was probing the derailment.
