Baddi (HP), Dec. 30 -- The Telcom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released the findings of its independent drive test (IDT) for Baddi industrial township, highlighting variations in mobile network performance among operators, with BSNL recording the highest call drop rate.
The assessment was conducted between November 11 and 13 across the HP Licensed Service Area (LSA) to capture real-world user experience in urban zones, institutional hotspots, public transport hubs and high-speed corridors.
TRAI teams covered 180 km of city drive tests, six hotspot locations, a 2.3-km walk test and one inter-operator calling location. Services were evaluated across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies.
