New Delhi, July 17 -- Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today organised a half-day workshop on the theme of "Framework for Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity" at its headquarters here.

The event, aimed at spreading awareness among the masses about digital connectivity, was attended by 100 senior officials from key ministries of the Central Government, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), CPWD, NBCC, and other agencies.

In his address, TRAI Chairperson Anil Kumar Lahoti pointed out the importance of robust digital connectivity, similar to water, electricity, and structural safety. He also stressed the importance of DPI or Digital Public Infrastructure in providing seamless access to the telecom sector.
