Kochi, May 23 -- Mini Bhargavan (54), who survived burns while working as a domestic worker after being trafficked to Malaysia, was brought here from Kuala Lumpur in a special air ambulance of Malaysian Airlines.
She was admitted to Kalamasserry Medical College Hospital on Thursday night for further treatment. This is the first time that a Malayali expatriate who is a victim of human trafficking has been brought home using an air ambulance.
Kerala Health Minister Veena George said a medical board has been formed to monitor her treatment and review her health condition.
