Trader's nose chopped off in Karnataka
Belagavi, March 29 -- A dispute over setting up a shop on a pavement took a violent turn in Karnataka's Belagavi, where a trader's nose was chopped off following an altercation, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred at Khade Bazaar's Khanjar Galli, where 42-year-old Sufiyan Pathan intended to establish his shop. A disagreement with another individual escalated into a heated argument, culminating in an attack.
The accused, identified as Ayan Desai, allegedly took out a knife and severed Sufiyan's nose. Another person, identified as Sameer Pathan, sustained injuries during the scuffle.
Sufiyan is currently undergoing treatment at Belagavi's BIMS Hospital. Police have registered a case and launched a search operation to apprehend Ayan...
