Srinagar, Oct. 17 -- A trader from Punjab was killed and another critically injured by an unidentified gunmen in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Wednesday night, official sources said on Thursday. They said the gunmen resorted to indiscriminate firing at Prang, Shopian, where a group of traders were present. "Two traders from Punjab were critically wounded in the firing," they said, adding the injured were immediately rushed to a local hospital. One of the injured, identified as Charan Jett Singh, was declared brought dead, while another was referred to district hospital Pulwama and later sent to Srinagar in a critical condition.
