Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- Demonstrating its commitment to consumer empowerment and sustainable energy, TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) has recorded a significant rise in rooftop solar installations under both the Ula Model - Utility Led Aggregation Model, and the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
A growing number of households across Western Odisha have benefitted from reduced energy costs, with many enjoying zero electricity bills.
Under the ULA Model- Utility Led Aggregation Model, which is also a part of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, a total number of 142 consumers have installed the one-kilowatt rooftop solar system across TPWODL's operational areas.
