Medak (Telangana), April 22 -- In a compassionate gesture, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President T Jaggareddy on Tuesday extended financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to a cancer-stricken woman from Sadashivapet in Medak district. Jaggareddy visited the residence of the victim, Amani, who has been battling cancer while raising two daughters alone after the demise of her husband. Amani tearfully shared that she had already borrowed Rs 7 lakh for her ongoing treatment and was pushed to the brink of despair, contemplating suicide.
