Hyderabad/Delhi, Oct. 13 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud today met All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi and discussed the ongoing developments concerning the BC reservation issue in the state.
During the meeting, Goud briefed Kharge on the legal situation following the High Court's stay on Government Order (GO) No. 9, which provided 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes in local body elections.
He also discussed the possibility of filing a petition in the Supreme Court to protect the rights of BC communities.
