Aizawl, Oct. 9 -- Chief Minister Lalduhoma highlighted the impressive growth in Mizoram's tourism sector, revealing a staggering 139.5% increase in tourist arrivals over the past year.

With over 5.2 lakh visitors registered in 2024, the Chief Minister attributed the surge to the state's growing appeal as a travel destination, which has provided a significant boost to the local economy.

Expressing confidence in the upward trend, Lalduhoma called on the people of Mizoram to embrace their role as hospitable hosts, ensuring that visitors feel welcomed and appreciated.
