Shillong, May 26 -- A tourist couple from Madhya Pradesh has gone missing during their visit to Sohra, also known as Cherrapunjee, a popular tourist destination in Meghalaya, police said on Monday.

Raja Raghuvanshi (27) and his wife Sonam (25) from Indore, went missing from May 24, and their whereabouts remain unknown, till filing of this report.

The two-wheeler was found at Sohrarim, located between Shillong and Sohra, one of the world's wettest places more popular as Cherrapunjee, the following day.

Police said the couple had hired a two-wheeler for four days from one Sagar Sen Samal of Keating road here in State's capital Shillong from May 22 on a visit to Sohra.
