Siliguri, May 1 -- A meeting to deliberate on the promotion of tourism in Sikkim in the aftermath of the visit of PM Narendra Modi was convened at the Conference Hall of the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department on Thursday.
The meeting was chaired by Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister T.T. Bhutia, and discussions were centred on strategies to promote and further develop the state's tourism sector with active stakeholder participation, while outlining a roadmap for future action.
During the meeting, appreciation was expressed towards stakeholders for their participation, and the recognition of Sikkim's hospitality by the Prime Minister was highlighted.
