Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 12 -- The Kerala Tourism Department has come out with a major project to transform Aanathazhchira near Technocity at Pallippuram here into a tourism destination, as part of the initiative to bring to fore unexplored spots to attract tourists.
The project will be implemented on 16.7 acres of land owned by the Revenue Department and the Grama Panchayat, Andoorkonam.
Revenue Minister K Rajan will hand over the title deed of the land to Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas at a function to be held at Aanathazhchira Ground at 6 pm on Wednesday.
Minister for Food and Civil Supplies G R Anil will preside over the function.
