Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 7 -- Heralding the festivities, Kerala Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran will hoist the Onam Flag at Kanakakunnu here on Sunday, at 1800 hrs.
Former State Minister C Divakaran MLA, who is also the Onam Celebrations Working Committee Chairman, would inaugurate the Onam Trade Fair at Suryakanthi Grounds in Kanakakunnu the same day, at 1630 hrs.
K Ansalan, MLA will preside over the function. City Corporation Councillor Palayam Rajan, Tourism Secretary Rani George, Tourism Director P Bala Kiran and Trade Fair and Exhibition Committee Convenor Santhoshlal AR, would attend the function.
