Patna, Sept. 30 -- The Election Commission today released the final voters list of 7.42 crore electorate after Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar before upcoming state assembly elections.
Election Commission sources said here that 7.42 crore voters were listed as eligible electorate in electoral rolls released after SIR, which had started on June 24 this year. The total number of voters was 7.89 crore on June 24 when SIR of electoral roll was initiated, sources added.
