Raipur, Dec. 4 -- India captain KL Rahul underlined the impact of the toss in India's narrow four-wicket loss to South Africa in the second ODI at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, describing it as a decisive factor in the evening contest. The defeat allowed South Africa to level the three-match series 1-1.

"Not really a tough pill to swallow, considering the dew and the challenges of bowling in the second innings. The umpires were kind enough to change the ball a few times, but toss still plays a huge role. I am kicking myself for losing two tosses in a row," Rahul said.
