Chongqing, March 13 -- World No. 1 Sun Yingsha of China advanced to the women's singles quarterfinals with a straight-game victory over Adriana Diaz of Puerto Rico at the World Table Tennis Champions Chongqing tournament on Friday.
Sun needed just 25 minutes to secure an 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 victory, according to Xinhua.
"Actually we didn't play against each other many times before, but we sometimes trained together. I made more specific preparations for this match. Though I won in straight games, the match was quite excellent," Sun said after her win.
