Bengaluru, Dec. 2 -- The Bengaluru City Police have launched an investigation after Commissioner of Police B Dayananda received a bomb threat on his official email, warning of coordinated blasts at Kempegowda International Airport and multiple major malls across the city.
According to police, the alleged threat mail was received on November 30 and was sent from an email ID bearing the name Mohit Kumar.
The message claimed to be from the so-called "Jaish-e-Mohammed White Collar Terror Team" and warned of bomb attacks at the airport and six prominent malls - Orion Mall, Lulu Mall, Forum South Mall, Mantri Square Mall and another reference to Lulu Mall - stating that explosions would begin from 7 pm onwards.
